Tumbling

For students interested in building and improving skills for cheerleading, or those who want to learn how to do a variety of flips, twists, and springs, all while gaining confidence, strength, and flexibility, tumbling classes are for you!

Randolph Gymnastics Academy offers overall tumbling, which introduces students to many stunts in order of difficulty, according to a tried and proven method used by our coaches over the past decade to breed champions! Also offered are classes that focus on the back handspring, giving students what they need to make the cheer team they are trying out for or to be an even better gymnast.

Tumbling Classes

Students learn beginner to very high level tumbling skills, while also training in strength, endurance, and flexibility. With experienced coaches who have trained students who have gone on to coach cheerleading and gymnastics, or join college level teams, students learn confidence first so that they are willing and able to ‘throw it’ when the time comes.

Learn a perfect back handspring, as well as other skills in this class.

Strength, endurance, and flexibility are the core of this class, giving students the tools they need to safely obtain the back handspring and skills beyond. In addition to just the handspring, standing tumble, tucks, layouts, and running tumble will all be taught in sequence of difficulty. We do not simply spot, but focus on building upper body and arm strength necessary for many of these skills.
